Now we`re back in Vienna and all in all our journey was nice!

Dublin is a very nice city and also the Irish are quite nice...... but the bus system is a bit strange, we always had to wait quite long for our busses.

Dublin is a nice city to visit but.... don`t fly with air lingus!!

As some of you may already know, we, the 7C, have been to Ireland for the last two weeks. Yes.


I think it was quite ok, some things went wrong and others went the rigth way. But thats life, you have to cope with problems. In the first days the irish weather was how I expected it to be, very changing, on one single day, we had a hail storm, rain, wind and sunshine. Absolutely crazy. The last two thirds of the journey, it stayed rather sunny. On my opinion the programm was way too overloaded, especially the afternoon program. Almost every single day, we visited something, for me it was impossible to keep all the informations in my mind. I would have liked to have more sparetime, so that we would have been able to to explore the city on our own, to talk and simply to have fun with our classmates. The language school was not realy good, at least the first teacher we had, the lessons were quite boring with her. The last 3 days we had an other teacher, because the first one went on holidays. With her, she was called Ana, it was much more fun. I think the journey must have been a trip to hell for our teachers, they realy had to work a lot. I dont like the irish laws, because of two simple resons. The first one is, that you are not aloud to rink any alcohol until you are 18 years old, once we tried to get into a pub and were kicked out. The second reason is, that Ireland is one of the last countrys in Europe that does not allow abortion.

Ireland was more or less OK... it was a lot of fun(dispite the teachers), it was f***ing cold the first few days, but in the end the weather turned better.
My host-father( who was born in Austria!!! and who had understood every german word I said to sebi) was very nice, a little bit strange, but nice and what he has cooked for us was great. But I think I spend more money on food then on beer, because Ireland is realy, realy, realy,... expensive!!!! 1 pint costs 5€...that's amazing!!!!!!!!! and it was also realy hard to get into the pubs, but of course I managed it!!!

On the whole it was a very nice trip but if I flew back I would fly to Galway, becaus it was more beautiful than Dublin.

we're back!

so finally we're back from dublin/ireland... apart from nicola (organisator) and the weather everything was GRAND (as the irish would say)... dublin is a great city with very kind people (at this point we have to mention that the bus system sucks)...ireland is definitely a country to visit :)

how do you do? Im still very tired because of the flight but now is eastern an we got holidays so I will relax a bit... Ireland is leiwand but oarsch cold. Museums are as boring as the ones in vienna and hatsching through the city hurt the legs.
Hopefully we will get the pictures of the journey soon and then we can show it to you.
Shopping is very expensive there but the food is good ^^

no, everythings fine, the weather gets better from day to day and the school is quite "chillaxe" (it's irish!) when our teachers aren't dancing or hiting spoons which is a bit dangerous (only our viennese teachers always seem to be a bit stressed and "hectical" 9and they try very hard to keep us awaz from the shops))
tomorrow we're going to galway which I think is great but since there's no water SHOWER before we get there!!!
and take some bottles of non poisoned water with you
